We answer every genuine enquiry, in English or French. If you are unsure who to write to, use the general address and we will route it internally rather than sending you elsewhere.
Which channel to use
- General enquiries, media requests and anything you are unsure about: contact@womenslight.org.
- Programmes, partnerships, job applications, volunteering and internships: info@womenslight.org.
- Urgent matters, or if writing is difficult: call or send a WhatsApp message to our main line.
- Safeguarding concerns, or anything involving the conduct of our staff, volunteers or partners: use the confidential channel described below rather than the general form.
Response times
We aim to acknowledge ordinary enquiries within five working days. Complaints raised through our Community Accountability and Reporting Mechanism are acknowledged within five working days, and we tell you the outcome within 30 working days or explain why more time is needed. Urgent safeguarding concerns are not queued: where anyone is at risk, safety and support needs are addressed immediately, ahead of any administrative process.
If writing is difficult
If literacy, language, disability or anything else makes it hard to contact us in writing, tell us however you can and we will arrange a way that works. You may bring someone you trust. Nobody is required to explain why they need an adjustment.
