Policies & Governance

The policies that govern how Women's Light Foundation works — published in full, because an organisation asking communities and donors for trust should show its rules before it is asked for them.

These documents are not published because a donor asked for them. They are published because they are the practical answer to a reasonable question: if we are asking a woman in difficulty to trust our staff, or a partner to trust us with their funding, what rules actually bind us?

Each policy states its version, effective date, owner and review cycle, and each names the route by which a breach can be reported — including anonymously, and including breaches by our own leadership.

Safeguarding and conduct

The policies that protect the people we work with, and bind the people who work for us.

Integrity and accountability

How funds are protected, how conflicts are managed, and how wrongdoing can be reported.

Data and privacy

How personal information is handled — including survivor data, where the stakes are highest.

Inclusion, environment and people

How we apply the principles we advocate for to our own organisation.
