Women's Light Foundation
Lighting the path for women and girls
A Cameroonian association working at the intersection of gender justice, education, health, environment and economic empowerment — beginning in the Northwest and Southwest Regions.
Girl-Child Education
Every girl belongs in a classroom
Cameroon's female literacy rate remains below 70%. We are working to return 300 underprivileged girls to school in our first year through bursaries, school materials and mentorship.
Community
Standing with families who need it most
From orphanage visits to hospital support and community clean-ups, our founder and team work directly alongside the communities we serve.

Lighting the Path for Women and Girls
Women's Light Foundation empowers women, girls and underprivileged communities across Cameroon through integrated, community-led programmes — so that every woman and girl can live with dignity, safety and opportunity.

50,000
Trees to be planted with schools and communities.
Protecting Women & Girls
Nearly one in two Cameroonian women has experienced physical or sexual violence, and girls still face early marriage, school fees and unsafe journeys to class. We work on both fronts at once — safety and schooling.
Building Resilient Communities
Women and girls carry the heaviest burden of water collection and are most exposed to poor sanitation and climate shocks. We invest in the infrastructure and the environment that communities depend on.
Creating Opportunity
Women make up the majority of Cameroon's smallholder farmers and informal traders, yet face systemic barriers to land, credit and training. We build the savings groups, skills and evidence that change this.
